Group Tour Request

In the case that we are unable to accommodate you on your requested day, please list your second and third choice days below. Group tours are only available at 9:30 am PT.

Claremont McKenna Group Tour Contract
We are pleased that you have chosen to visit Claremont McKenna College for a campus tour. The following expectations ensure that we can create a positive experience for both your group and the Claremont McKenna College community. Please read the following thoroughly before checking off each box in acknowledgement. We reserve the right to terminate a campus tour early and/or deny future visit requests from groups that do not abide by our policies.

This group tour booking is for a Community College, High School, or a Community Based Organization serving high school students.

Groups are expected to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time, and be prepared to depart promptly at their designated tour time. Groups arriving 15 minutes after the group tour is scheduled to depart will not be accommodated, as the CMC student tour guides may have class immediately following your tour. In such cases, chaperones have the option of taking students on a self-guided tour of campus; brochures are located just outside the admission office doors.

All visiting students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner while on campus. This includes respectful use of facilities, appropriate noise levels, and Covid-19 safety protocols. CMC classes are in session throughout the day. Disruptive behavior at any time during a tour, including disrespectful or inappropriate comments/questions toward our tour guides will not be tolerated. Please consider prompting your group with relevant questions for the tour. Our tour guides and any other member of the Admissions Office staff reserve the right to terminate a campus tour early and/or deny future visit requests from groups that do not abide by our policies.

All visitors will remain masked at all times during their tour (indoors and outdoors). We request that you bring enough masks for your entire group, though additional masks will be available at the Admission Office. CMC reserves the right to deny a tour to an individual or group who fails to comply with current Covid-19 guidelines.

Groups of students should remain under close supervision by adult chaperones during their visit. Tour guides are not chaperones and are not responsible for managing the behavior of visiting students. Tour groups are optimally divided into groups of 20 students or less. Therefore, one chaperone per each tour group is required in order to oversee the students while on campus and to keep the group together at all times. Claremont McKenna College will not be held liable for any lost or stolen goods, accidents, or injuries.

Video recording and/or photography of the tour guide(s) is not allowed. Electronic devices such as cell phones, iPods, and other digital recording devices should be turned off and put away during the tour.

In the event that a group cannot attend a confirmed tour, Claremont McKenna requires a written cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Notifications must be sent to Rachelle Ehrman, Associate Dean of Admission, at rehrman@cmc.edu.
