Group Tour Registration 

    To schedule a group tour, you must fit the following criteria:

    • Students must be from a Community College, High School or a Community Based Organization serving high school students. For groups with high school students, priority will go to current 11th and 12th graders (fall tours) and/or rising 11th and 12th graders (spring and summer tours). 
    • Group size should be no larger than 45 students and have at least 4-5 chaperones. If the size of the group is above 50, your reservation will be cancelled. For groups with less than 10 students, please have all students individually register for our regularly scheduled campus tours at https://connect.cmc.edu/visit.

    Registration Information:
    Group Tours are scheduled on a first-come, first serve basis. 

    • Group tours are available Monday-Friday at 9:30 am during the academic year, and Monday-Friday at 2:30 pm in the summer. You will be asked to provide alternative dates during registration in case we are unable to accommodate your first choice.
    • A group tour booking is for a 1-hour guided tour of CMC’s campus led by a current student.
    • The reservation does not include an information session or a student panel.
    • Bookings require acknowledgement and submission of The Claremont McKenna College Campus Tour Contract in order to be valid. This contract contains all our expectations for group visits. We reserve the right to terminate a campus tour early and/or deny future visit requests from groups that do not abide by our policies.
    • All group tour bookings must provide the name and phone number of a chaperone who will be present during the scheduled CMC tour 
    • Group tour requests must be made at least two weeks in advance.

    Spring 2025 group tours are available starting January 27 are NOT available on the following dates:
    • February 17-18
    • March 17-April 20

    • Late arrivals: Groups arriving 15 minutes after the group tour is scheduled to depart will not be accommodated. Chaperones have the option of taking students on a self-guided tour of campus; brochures are located just outside the admission office doors.
    • Meals :  Meals are available on campus at either the Hub Cafe (to-go options and coffee shop) or Collins Dining Hall during the Academic Year ONLY. You can pay by credit card at either location. If you wish to eat on campus, please let us know at least one week prior to arrival. In addition, the Claremont Village is less than a mile from our campus and only a short 10 minute walk. The Village offers a variety of different restaurants and options: http://www.thevillageclaremont.com/restaurants.html

    Please use the calendar below to REQUEST your first choice visit date. Registration is not guaranteed, you will be contacted by the Admission Office soon to confirm the date of your tour.
